Located in the heart of Paris, rue Sainte-Anne (\u201cSainte-Anne street\u201d) starts 200 meters from the Op\u00e9ra Garnier, crosses the Palais Royal and the Com\u00e9die Fran\u00e7aise and ends not far from the Jardin des Tuileries and the Louvre. It includes hidden jewels of the capital such as the Passages Choiseul and Sainte-Anne, covered commercial arcades built in the 19th century.<\/p>

This district boasts the most emblematic gardens of the Parisian capital: behind the arcades of the Com\u00e9die fran\u00e7aise are the gardens of the Palais Royal with their famous Buren columns. A hundred meters away is the entrance to the Tuileries Gardens with the Jeu de Paume and Orangerie museums at the western entrance and the Louvre and its great pyramid to the north. Every year, at the time of the fairs dedicated to modern art (FIAC and now ART BASEL), the Tuileries Garden is transformed into an outdoor exhibition space. Fashion Week and its famous shows also takes place in this area.<\/p>

Rue Sainte-Anne is sometimes referred to as “Little Tokyo”; this street began to be associated with Japanese culture in the 1960s, when the first entrepreneurs from the archipelago settled in the neighborhood and with them came many businesses imbued with flavors from elsewhere. Today, restaurants, traditional bakeries and Japanese supermarkets not only delight the taste buds of the Japanese inhabitants of Paris, but they also attract French people who love this fine Asian cuisine. The Opera district is perfectly situated in the heart of Paris and one can find everything nearby. In the middle of the square, like a jewel facing the magnificent avenue, thrones the sumptuous Opera Garnier, symbol of the Second Empire, with its imposing facade, marble columns, gilding, grandiose statues and its famous ceiling painted by Marc Chagall. This temple of dance and music fascinated the impressionist Edgar Degas and expresses the true character of the district. It is a visit not to be missed!\n<\/p>\n

This district also includes a variety of iconic areas of the Parisian capital. On one side you have the renowned department stores such as the Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps with their incredible window displays, on the other side it extends to the business district of La Bourse, Richelieu-Drouot and the Grands Boulevards. It is also a stone’s throw from the Madeleine and the Place Vend\u00f4me with its elegant and luxurious boutiques. Finally it descends to the Palais Royal, the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens. Montmartre is an emblematic neighborhood of Paris with its maze of narrow cobbled streets and alleyways, its food shops, restaurants, theaters, concert halls, cabarets and movie theaters, not forgetting its terraces open all year round. All this makes the neighborhood of Montmartre a special place in Paris. This village in the middle of the capital was a source of inspiration for many artists such as Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec, Utrillo, Degas and many others. The singer Dalida particularly loved this neighborhood. Film enthusiasts can discover the emblematic places from the film Am\u00e9lie Poulain such as the grocery store or the famous “Caf\u00e9 Deux Moulins” on rue Lepic. It is a neighborhood that contains hidden treasures such as the Chateau des Brouillards near the Place Dalida.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Les Studios de Charmes de Montmartre” is located in the heart of this district, 300 meters from the Basilique du Sacr\u00e9 Coeur at the Passage Cottin which was painted by Utrillo in one of his most beautiful artworks. This passage ends with a steep staircase directly overlooking the Sacr\u00e9 Coeur. The famous Place du Tertre and the Moulin Rouge are a 7 minute walk away.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our apartment “Le Royal Monceau” is ideally located 100 meters from the authentic Levis market and a fifteen-minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. \nThis 60m2 apartment, bathed in sunlight, is located on the third floor of a charming building near the Parc Monceau. It includes a large living room and two quiet bedrooms overlooking a wooded square. <\/p>

Completely renovated in 2016 it has two quality queen size beds, a sofa bed, a flat screen TV and free unlimited Internet access. The Monceau District<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Monceau village already appeared on the maps drawn by Albert Jouvin de Rochefort in 1672. Back then it was a small village which became, in the 19th century, an upper-class neighborhood. Today it is an art lover’s paradise. You will find some of the most interesting museums of the Parisian cultural world such as Cernuschi, Jacquemart-Andr\u00e9, Jean-Jacques Henner, not forgetting the Nissim de Camondo museum which houses one of the world\u2019s finest collections of 18th century decorative art. You can also visit numerous art galleries.<\/p>\n\n

The Monceau district is known above all for its magnificent Parc Monceau, former property of the Duke of Chartres and a refuge for walkers in search of peace and delight. As you stroll along its rough paths you can discover a Swiss farm, a pagoda, a pyramid, feudal ruins or a Roman temple. You can also find statues of famous writers and artists.<\/p>\n\n
